-----Tips for Wax Melts-----
Q: What type of oils do you use?
A: I use a variety of oils from ethical candle supply manufacturers that take great care in creating scents that are non-toxic to humans and are Phthalate free.
Q: Can I use melts if I have a pet?
A: It is not advised for you to use any type of scented air freshner around birds, and or rodents as their respiratory systems are different.
Q: I have a burner from Walmart, Scentsy, Amazon...will it work with your melts?
A: YES! All melters burn differently though. Some burn hot, some are cooler, and some distribute heat more even than others. They should all "melt" your wax perfectly fine, it's really a personal preference which type of melter you would like to use.
Q: My melt only lasted a few hours...why?
A: There could be several reasons for this. One is the size of the room. Larger more open spaces (such as an open floor plan) make the scent have to travel further, so it's likely you wont smell it super strong across the room. Wax burners that are very hot can quickly burn off the fragrance oil and shorten the life of your melt. To help with this you can use a silicone liner to buffer the direct heat and make your melt slowly burn.
Q: Which is better, An electrical wax burner or one with a tealight underneath?
A: Both will work just fine! However, some electrical burners can burn hotter than a tea light and shorten your melt time.
